File this under: people who don't get my sense of humor.
I scheduled Eldest Child for another ultrasound today, the next step with his ongoing medical issues. Then I called the insurance company to check if we needed pre-authorization or anything like that.
The rep quoted from a script: "Generally ultrasounds do not require pre-certification unless they are obstetrical in nature."
To which I replied: "So we don't need to precert then."
She quoted from her script the above wording, again: "Generally ultrasounds do not require pre-certification unless they are obstetrical in nature.".
I pointed out: "Well, he's not pregnant."
She replied: "Maam, I did not say or imply that he was."
Me: "So we don't need a precert."
Her: "Generally ultrasounds do not require pre-certification unless they are obstetrical in nature.".
Me: *facepalm
lol
