We get a large amount of calls for "the smell of gas", which is usually vague and most often unfounded.  They are routine and I don't think much of them other than an easy way to rack up the call numbers.

Glove Up

I stepped out of the rig on a call and the cop looked at my gloved hands and said:  "Good, you're set already."

The best thing about making pico de gallo from scratch is how your hands smell like lime even after you wash them.

People Are Slow

Every year I have to take a state required class as an EMT.  It takes about 2 hours to complete and is generally a dull power-point presentation led by a speaker.  Last year there was a problem with the accreditation of the class and we all had to take it a second time a few months later.

Blank Canvas

I've had this program open all day and have found absolutely nothing to write.  That stinks.

Erase

I had two calls back-to-back the other day that were both so gross that even other EMTs didn't want to talk about what happened.  It's going to take a whole lot of Disney Magic to get that out of my head.
